Starter keeps Cranking after Batteries Swap

I replaced the batteries on my 2018 Jeep JL Unlimited Sport. When I pushed to start, the starter kept cranking. I had to push the start button to stop it. What caused this to happen. Could the harness connectors to the fuses not seated. The bolts that secured them were tightened. Please help me solve this problem and what to check.

Update. Found the problem. The pin to the starter relay was bent slightly snd could not have seated. The proper way to attach the 4 receptacle blocks were to place them snapped into place on their place in the box then place the fuse panel to lock in place and tighten the bolts to finish seating the receptacles. I also reset the computer as the final step. The engine fired up and running now.
