Vancouver Island, BC near a lake called Fairy Lake. I thought I was taking a trail that leads back up into a nice area on San Juan river. I was wrong and after a bit I ended up at this creek, called Granite Creek I think. This spot is only about 1/2 mile off the main road.

Learned a couple things. The JL can 3 point turn in pretty much its own length and that for my exploring in the bush the black top is definitely the right decision.

My dash cam should have caught some of the trail in, I'll have to check it later today.

That's the idea, plus they have features for automatically saving when they recognize an impact while driving or when parked. They are designed for continuous use and start up automatically. Search youtube for "dash cam russia" and you'll get an idea of why people are starting to add them to their vehicles.
