This ever happen to anyone?

So the soft slides on rails front to back. I’ve never disconnected mine from the rails.

But apparently while offroading it came off the rails. This for some reason prevented the pivot locks on the back from functioning, so my soft top must have started acting like a sail in the wind. Mind you I had no idea and drove home at 55-60mph like this.

Well it ripped the soft top off two of the ribs.

I’m guessing this is not repairable?

Photo of the end of sliding rail it’s supposed to stay attached to but somehow came off the tracks.

If it's not repairable, I have the soft top from my 2021 JLUR that has never been installed/used that I would be willing to sell.

I'm located in central PA, so shipping is probably not a good option.

Looks like you had a blast at least.

They may have already been on their way out as it's a common issue. I've seen others mention they glued it back together successfully with fabric glue but i'm not sure hot it adheres to the bow.

I switched mine out for a black twill directly from Bestop and I like their own method of securing the softop then what the tops directly from Jeep have.

Is it the full softtop kit with hardware?

Jeep dealer sells just the fabric part for like $350ish if I recall.

Anybody know how much of a pain it is to completely remove the soft top in the future? I seem to damage it every-time I go out since it’s a heavily wooded area. Curious if anybody removes them to go offroading.

Very easy, flip it back, and remove a couple bolts that attaches it to the locking mechanism... just don't forget to lock it back and verify! That thing loves to chop fingers. Also helps to have a second pair of hands to lift it off... it's kind of awkward.

Yes, full kit with hardware. Description from window sticker says "Premium black sunrider soft top"

Quadratec sells just the fabric for $600.
