**SOLVED** Clips for Trailgater Tailgate Table

I’m getting pretty desperate here and hoping someone can help.

I am moving my Trailgater table from one JL to another. That requires a new set of clips since the old ones could not be removed from the old JL without destroying them.

I have tried buying these from Trailgater — and do not mind paying! — but have received radio silence over two weeks of trying to contact them.

Does anyone know of a generic part that might replace these clips? Thanks in advance!

For some reason, "retainer screw grommet" seems to be the closest I can get on Amazon. It brings up the nylon inserts like that. Any of those look like they'll work?

I may try a multi-pack of these to see if any work. Such a dumb problem to have. I don’t mind paying Outback Adventure Products for more of them, but it‘s like they’re out of business or something.

Looks like OEM style is going to be a dead end and you will have to find something that just "works"....I found some on Amazon that look similar, but are not green, and don't seem to have the same wings the OEM ones do.

Update: I’m going to try these and see if they’ll work. The Trailgater part is proprietary. Therefore, as others have noted, we’ll just have to come as close as possible.

Have you tried just a standard plastic anchor like you can use in drywall? If it's tight enough, it could work.

I wonder what the deal is with Outdoor Adventure not responding to emails or phone calls. If they’re out of business that’s sad, but they ought to tell people.

And if they’re still in business it’s inexcusable. Their tables are outstanding, but customer service matters.

I have left a couple voicemails at Trailgater asking about these clips and nobody calls me back. Maybe they’re making enough money where they don’t care about Customer Service anymore?
