New JL owner here. I got the dual top group and have been rocking my soft top since I took delivery a few weeks ago.

However the weather is getting colder, so I'm looking to put the hard top back on for winter within the next month.

Any recommendations on anything I should do before I swap them out? My original plan was to run the Jeep through a touchless car wash the day before, then wrap the soft top up in the little canvas bag thing it came in before storing it on the hoist I got (Harken). Windows will go up on a shelf or in the attic where they can lay flat.

That sounds like a good plan, although I'd hand-wash it with a soft top-safe cleaner instead of using a car wash. I know a lot of people use the touchless ones, but I've seen even more people and experts claim that the chemicals in them are too harsh. Even if they're ok some of the time, I'd probably not risk it right before wrapping it up and storing it for several months. I just use the Chemical Guys soft top cleaner and their Hydro Thread product, but there are other things. I'll follow this thread though, because I'm about to do the same thing.
