Just completed my install of the Smittybilt XRC 9500 winch and JCR plate on steel bumper. Mounted the solenoid on top and front facing.

Do you guys think the lines are too close to the grill or is this fine? I couldn’t find a way to get it any further out away from it.

They may rub the paint like that. Any way to zip tie them tight to the control box?
Thanks. I did add a zip tie and seems to help a little bit. In this set up do you guys recommend a particular way to mount the silinoid?

I have similar, x2O 10k. I flipped the solenoid box 180 so the wires come out the front. Works just fine

did you zip tie them under the bumper too? Im just worried they will interfere with the winch rope
No they are not even close to being in the way. Also you can see my control box is off to the side a bit so everything can reach and stay out of the way.

I’ll be home Friday and take a picture of the wires if you still want by then.

Gracias my man!
Really hard to get pictures do to how close it all is to the front bumper. First install all wires before you install the winch. You will see there’s no way they will be touched by the winch cable. The cable comes out the bottom of the drum, far away from any wires. The wires angle forward and route to the side before even getting low enough to be inline with the top of the drum.
