Spectacular pictures and it makes me feel old, saw some of the older aircraft in person while they were still in service, not in a museum. I was in the USAFSS (was in liaison with SAC) and was stationed at the 397th Bombardment Wing, Heavy, at Dow AFB, Bangor, Maine. The one I remember seeing most was a B-58 Hustler that came in late in the afternoon and was kept out near the end of the runway, it never made it to the ramp before departing the next day. All service on the B-58 was performed away from prying eyes.
