Sky one Touch paint and seal replacement

I installed a SOT top on my Earl 24 Wrangler. The top was a 22
Luckily, the top is black so it doesn't look too bad.
I want to get it painted to match. In the process I want to replace all the seals including the ones between the panels?

Has anyone taken their top apart to paint? How was it? Anything to be aware off?

Do you know the part numbers or have diagrams for the seals?

I had the top on my wife’s Jeep painted. I took it apart as much as possible but had them just tape the seals as they are very expensive to replace. Seeing the top is black any missed edges won’t be very noticeable.

Taking it apart isn’t bad, just take the top off which separates the top and the back window section then the colored side rails are attached to the fabric top mechanism by 6 or 8(?) torx screws down each side.

Not really, once you take the top off just flip it over and the torx screws are in the side rails, take those out and it separates them from the top mechanism.

this is two of them, I believe there are 6 on each side.

A different angle. Black painted top not textured. Perhaps black painted fenders ? I actually would have preferred that and gotten snazzy instead of blue if painted top and fenders weren’t standard. It would look great on some colors, not sure about gray.
