Side mirror material type

Hello all! So i was a moron and scratched up my driver side mirror trying to remove ice a few weeks ago. Anyone know if it is actually glass or some sort of plastic? Just trying to figure out what it is so i can determine the best way to polish the scratches out. Thanks!

Mirror replacement is supposed to be pretty easy.. You can buy just the mirror glass ($58+-) for your JL's mirror here, a Mopar parts vendor and elsewhere..

Thanks fella's, if I can't get it to polish out I'll keep those replacements in mind. But they aren't too deep so if I'm lucky it shouldn't be a big deal.
