Shocks for Rock Krawler 2.5" Adventure Series

Do you run the Falcon 2.1's on the Soft/Cold setting or Performance? I've got a shiny new set to replace my Rubicon XR shocks. I've had Fox 2.0 in the past, I liked them but they all leaked and just don't have a great lifespan in my experience. I got the Falcons for the same price knowing they're firmer. I liked my firm Mojave ride so should be ok for me. I considered the RK shocks but in Canada the price was too high.

theyre on the soft/cold setting now. They are a little firm, but the dampening of the falcons is pretty bad for harsh bumps And slower speed bumps, so it’s real rough around town. but when running highway speeds I don’t find it too bad.
Edit: the falcons are great with stock rubicon springs… loved that combo. They’re a bit harsh with the rock krawler springs

Are you running the 2-3.5inch version?

I plan to install on the Soft/Cold setting and see how it goes with the 1.5 inch lifted XR package.

When I ran RK 2.5 springs on a JK with the Fox 2.0's I thought the ride was pretty nice.

yes, with the Xr linear springs I would imagine it will feel firm but good

Ahhh forgot my RK's were triple rate! Def different from linear rate springs.

Thanks everyone for the discussion. I ended up ordering some RRD 2.25's. I have used Rock Krawler for 3 lifts and really like their stuff. If I don't like them, ill go to Accutune Tuned Fox 2.5 Remote Resivours. I haven't had the best luck with the 2.0 fox shocks as far as seals and bushings over the years. Obviously a huge price difference.
