Ok don't laugh or poke fun but if you want to its okay I'm tough skin. Here is my question and I'm sure I already know the answer simple math I'd say but here goes. I want to install a Teraflex 2.5 spacer lift and then follow it up with a Teraflex 3.5 suspension lift. Do I need a 4-6 Inch shock since 3.5 + 2.5 = 6 or do I go with a 2-4 inch shock?

6" of lift? Did you get your hands on some 44" tires?

when you say follow, you mean you'll replace the spacers or you will keep both, spacers + new springs?

I was going to keep the spacer and the lift. I'm guessing not a wise direction to go. Guess a 4inch lift is in my future then!!!!

I mean, nothing wrong with going that high, it's your jeep, but if that's the case why not invest in a proper kit that includes everything you'll need to fix the geometry? starting at 4+ I think you also need to look into a flipped drag link, new driveshafts, etc

6" is a lot of lift, but if that's the builds you're going for is definitely doable. Metalcloak sells 5.5" springs. With that much lift you'll want front and rear geometry correction brackets and adjustable arms. I'd flip the drag link too. We only run 3.5" of lift and 39s so it's definitely more than necessary.
