Recently purchased a new 2018 JLUR for our move up north. We drove about 1K miles from the dealer to our new residence. Along the way, bumps on the front right grew a bit louder, even as the bumps lessened in severity. It sounded almost hollow When we got to the hotel we checked around the car and noticed the strut mount on the front right-hand wheel well appeared slightly bent downward, The left-hand side mount is flush and tucked into the well, you can't see the top of the bearing cover. is this normal? could someone post a picture of their right wheel strut. We plan to take it to the dealership when we arrive, but I'd appreciate anyones input. Cheers.

I checked the VIN against recall, nothing open.

Wranglers don't have struts. The picture above is of the coil spring bucket where the top of the spring sits. The entire weight of the right front of the Jeep rests there. It wouldn't bend down, it'd bend up if it was damaged. There is no bearing in the top. The difference in appearance, right side to left side, could be attributed to the different plastic inner fender designs to be molded around different things in the engine bay.

You could have a loose shock mount on that side that's banging around or a bad shock... I'd get under that side and feel around and check all the arms and the shock to see if I could find something loose... I'll walk out and take a pic of mine and post it in a sec...

Mine is more covered than yours but I have several wire harnesses that push the passenger side fender liner out... I can push them in but it pops back out...

Edited to add pics...
