Wow, 100 bucks for the fridge? Where did you get it? How does it perform?
A local pharmaceutical company donated hundreds of them to local habitat restore’s here in Raleigh. They’re very nice fridges made in Japan and perform great. It’s a 25L so not as spacious as the ARB’s etc. but you can fit a whole 24 case of bottled water

Feeding the mosquitoes... Hot and humid, but it's the Texas Gulf Coast, so that's to be expected... :(

Or to put it another way, I just started the swapping out of my stock wheels and tires to the old LT275/65R20 ones that I had leftover from my Ram 1500. It's 04:00 and that might seem like an odd hour, but it guarantees me that my wife won't be bothering me to do something else for her while I'm in the middle of it... One wheel down, 3 more to go... It would have gone quicker, but my damn floor jack is low on hydraulic oil and pumps up really slow and I'm not sure where would be a good place to put the hi-lift jack under that damn plastic bumper. I'll update this post as I get further along... So far, it's looking like a beer or two for each wheel...

04:35 -- Finished tire #2... LR was tire #1, RR was tire #2... Taking it for a test drive with just the two back tires changed...

05:00 -- Finished test drive... Seems like it might be a bit more bouncy, but that's probably because the LT275/65R20s from my former truck are still aired up to what they were on it -- around 70 psi. Grabbing another beer and starting on tire #3 (LF)...

05:45 -- Finished tire #3 (LF)... Grabbing another beer and starting tire #4... <burp>

06:39 -- Finished tire #4 (RF)... Time to give it another test drive...

07:09 -- Test drive finished... When backing out of my driveway, I did hear a bit of tire rub when I turned the steering wheel all the way to one side. I got out and looked at it and it seems that at some point well before steering lock that the tire comes in contact with the plastic bumper ends. I didn't investigate how far I could turn it, but as long as I don't turn it more than a quarter turn in either direction, it definitely does not rub. When at an intersection and making a right turn, it is possible to complete it and stay in the rightmost lane throughout the turn and it does not rub, so it's not so bad that I need to swap the tires back immediately.

Conclusion: It is possible to put LT275/65R20 tires on a stock 2-door "Sport" JL with a 1.25" wheel adapter (like I'm using) or a 1.25" spacer if you are using wheels with a 19.05mm offset like the Ram wheels have. Also, it doesn't look that strange either... These tires don't have that much tread left, so I don't know if it would work with brand new tires, but I suspect that 275/60R20 tires would work though. Brand new, the LT275/65R20 are calculated to be 34.075" in diameter and the 275/60R20 are supposedly 32.992". There is *some* rubbing at some point, but it can be avoided by not having too tight of a turning radius. Even with just a quarter turn of the wheel, the turning radius is smaller than it was on my pickup. :)

Here's some photos...

Time to get some sleep...

EDITED 2018.09.29 14:39 -- I saw where a lot of people didn't like the "euro guard" fairings that connect the bumper to the fender and were removing them. Since that is what is rubbing when I turn the wheel too far to one side or the other, I decided to try removing them to see if that makes a difference. It completely cured the rubbing issue, so I'm just going to leave it this way for now. Maybe I'll trim the "euro guard" fairings at a later date so that they can still cover the back of the fog lights. Maybe I'll take a piece of ABS, heat it up, and make my own cover. Maybe I'll just have another beer and forget about it... :)

EDITED 2018.09.30 -- Removed the "euro guard" fairing and updated the above photos. No more rubbing!

Tried painting my exhaust a couple weekends ago and noticed today it is already starting to peel/chip. Any recommendations on how to get better results? My guess is to use medium grit sand paper to rough up the metal surface which is what Inshould have done the first time. Just checking here first to see if others agree.

I used Rust-Oleum BBQ paint. It's high temp and was just laying around in my garage. Now our jeep smells like pulled pork when I drive! Ha!
Seriously though, I have not noticed any issues with it but today will be the real test, a 200mi drive...
UPDATE: Got back from that long drive and the paint looks great!

@Jo's Jeep

For years, I have used just plan Rustoleum Spray paint on Wrangler muffler's and tail pipes. I let dry say an hour after spraying before I start the vehicle. For the first 20- 30 mins. of driving you do smell something emanating from the muffler, that goes away quickly.

Your BBQ paint is aok to use. Of course, the pricey, high heat paint in general is good to use.

As mentioned, I have never had an issue using plain old, cheapy Rustoleum. I also like the particular black color that you get with the plain Rustoleum also.

I also painted the muffler and tail pipe black and used Rustoleum Farm and Implement Low Gloss paint, I originally purchased this to touch up spots on my ace rock sliders which I scraped up a tiny bit. I have had no issues with it and like the look of the low gloss black.

For the Ace Slider's most chose to use the product pictured below. It really matches up to the Ace Slider's well and provides a heavier coat lets say then Rustoleum spray paint.

Your painted muffler and tail pipe look great! Pet peeve of mine is why guys/gals don't paint that friggin shiney thing hanging there...
