I bought a new 2021 JLUR, and went with the base model radio for that model, knowing I was going to upgrade the sound aftermarket. I went with JL audio speakers all the way around, including (2) of their JL Stealthbox subwoofers all powered by a 900w Kenwood amp. The bass is fantastic, but the in dash speakers sound like they are blown. The installer told me that it wasn't the speakers, but the factory clips that hold the speaker in the dash. If you put your ear up to the speaker... you can hear he's correct. The speaker is fine, but the rattle is unbearable and ruins 1/2 the music played.

Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix? My installer didn't seem to think there was, but I've got to think there is...

Help?

There are adapters made for different speaker sizes for the JL.
I'm moving to 6.5's and there is a line item on my invoice from the installer for the adapter mounts/brackets.
