Vehicle details:
The service guy at Bomnin Jeep in Miami, FL told me I'd have to leave the Jeep for up to 4 days before a proper diagnostic test can be done. At that point, an assessment would be made on what needs to happen and if any additional costs would be incurred or shipping/labor time. The same service guy came to the car and scanned it. His scanner confirmed the P0401 code and saw that it was reporting a "stored" status. He said a stored status means that the value is stored but the issue is not active.
His recommendation was to continue driving the vehicle for a few days in hopes that the check engine light would turn off by itself in a few days. He said that if it doesn't turn off to bring the car in car in and preferably on a Monday morning early (like I did) because Mondays is when they typically get their biggest load of service requests. His scanner did pick up electrical issues that my scanner did not find. He said that was more concerning and was worried that one of the batteries may need to be replaced.
Meanwhile, the car drive feel is perfect and all electrical devices working perfectly.
Thoughts on this? Is his advice to drive for a few days and see if goes away, normal? Should I go to another dealer?
My concern is that an oxygen sensor is faulty and that I may be causing the engine unnecessary and extra wear and tear.

- ~59000 miles
- I bought an Extended warranty, good for 5 years / +75,000 miles post the original 3/36k
- I'm the only owner the car has ever had.
