posted this in the original thread about the winjet sequential LED tail lights, but never did get an answer, so I'll throw this out to the masses for opinions:
the winjet tail lights, if I understand correctly, contain diodes so that they are basically plug and play for non-LED equipped (or non-programmed) tails.
if one has the led tail package, then the diode needs to be removed/cut out, or whatever
rather than start messing with wires & such, could one simply "unprogram" the LED tails & then install these? seems like it would be a better option as far as maintaining the warranty, etc. (still on the fence about which programmer I"m going to get, all we'll probably use it for is for LED's & tire size: tazer is nice, but seems like a large waste of money for features we'll most likely not be using)
