I have tan seats. I love the look of them against a black jeep. However, wet swimsuits, dogs, kids all get them dirty and I wind up scrubbing them regularly. I thought about getting tan PRP or Bartact seat covers. I originally thought about the cheaper Smittybilt neoprene covers but they seem to get horrible reviews. The problem is with the Bartact seats, is that if I stick with tan, I will still be cleaning them regularly. At least with the PRP vinyl it should wipe off easy. However, the last time I sat on vinyl seats was in about 1989 in a GMC pickup and I remember the 2nd degree burns from just sitting in the Alabama sun, and this was not with an open top. I know that the purpose is to protect the factory seats, but for me the purpose is to keep the stains and cleaning to a minimum. What would you do?

Scotch Guard? I put covers on my seats to protect them and enhance the look a bit. I stick with black cloth though. If you want to just keep the OEM seats nice and protected, get whatever covers you want. If you're dead set on tan then maybe either just use a chemical protectant on whichever you want and just clean more often. There's a reason I didn't go tan, my leather in my Cadenza is tan and it's a PITA. Diver Down has tan and they're neoprene. Look into them?
