I found out the hard way tonight that the gauge cluster display scratches extremely easily. I was cleaning it gently with a paper towel and got these gouges. Will have to use a microfiber cloth and touch it with Precision from now on. Sigh....

Although paper towels look and feel soft, they are anything but! Yep, micro towels (cleaned often) are the correct tool for plastics.

Sorry about the scratches. It's got to be especially aggravating where they're located ... have to look at them all the time.

WeatherMan, did you ever find a screen protector or custom cut one to fit?

I actually scratched it again last weekend with a microfiber cloth. The plastic used in the cluster is as soft as butter. Very frustrating.
