Saturday Wheeling (June 15th)

My first time in it. I've spent all my time in a 172. But the 172 is down right now with a bad artificial horizon so I jumped in with Johnny for a few laps in the pattern before he did the EAA Young Eagles flights.

My CFI is an aerobatic pilot (he also has a Pitts) and aerobatic flying is planned, just focusing on finishing my PPL first. Check ride is scheduled for next month.

I learned on a C152 and upgraded to a 172 after I got my ticket. Felt like going from a Miata to an SUV (size-wise).

Saw the perfect plane for you the other day—assuming you’re wearing running shoes, checks off 3 out of 4 hobbies.

I don’t see how it could possibly air up one side unless there was an obstruction

Feels like I use mine in exclusively dusty areas when airing up/down. I’m always checking to make sure everything is clear when attaching.
