I was waiting in a CDJ dealership today and since I have been looking at Sahara Altitude online jumped in a fairly well equipped Sahara in the showroom.

I noticed that the dash trim pieces around the entertainment unit, A/C vents, etc was “faux” black leather double stitched white similar to the Gladiator Launch Edition which is red stitched and that some have swapped out in their Rubis. But the online pics of the Altitude looks to be painted plastic.

Would someone confirm that is std on the Sahara, but not the Altitude - and now North Edition?

Sahara trim with leather seat package gets you the leather dash panel. The standard panel on a Sahara without leather is grey plastic.

Thanks guys. I haven’t seen a Sahara Altitude live and it comes with leather. It’s possible the config pics on the Jeep site aren’t accurate.

I'd bet different colors dash panels start becoming a staple of all the special editionpackages they cook up for the JLs.
