Rust on Swing Gate

[22 High Tide Time]

Hey all,

I noticed a few rust spots around the swing gate hinges of my 2022 Rubicon. I just bought it about a month ago from a non-Jeep dealership with just 6,400 miles.

Has anyone encountered this issue? If so, how did you address it?

not rust likely corrosion under the paint. Very common just do a search for corrosion 100's of threads on it.

Time to see if your dealer will deal with galvanic corrosion. In theory those types of defects are covered for five years.
