My 2020 JLUR has 55K on it and I want to service the transfer case (4:1 Rock-Trac).
Am I right that I only need about 2 qts. of ATF+4 to drain and fill?
Anything else to do but change the fluid?
Also, is there any benefit to using fully synthetic or just regular fluid?
Thanks,

Just drain and re-fill.
ATF + 4 is synthetic fluid.
Remove the fill plug before draining to ensure it comes out, you don’t want to find out you can’t remove it after draining the fluid.

Your Rubi's Transfer Case --> 4.5 pts. (You may read 3.72 Pints/1.76 Liters but ...)

Valvoline Synthetic ATF+4 is what I do the deed with

You can also use Mopar ATF+4 Transmission Fluid. PN 6821805 7AB

Of course, there are other brands of ATF+4

Always be sure you can loosen the fill plug before you remove the drain plug.

You will need a hand pump to get the fluid in with. Fasten the pump to a 64 oz. empty/clean, clear plastic Snapple bottle, etc..

Use yellow or pink Teflon tape on the fill and drain plug.

Do know that you have a skid plate that will be in the way when you go to drain the transfer case...
Some guys/gals will pull the skid plate, but it is far easier, to fashion something like this to facilitate draining..

You place this between the drain hole and the skid plate.... you pull the plug and the fluid runs along it, and then into the drain pan. No big mess on the skid plate and no pulling the skid plate.

This is an aluminum foil pan you get at the dollar store, etc.. You just cut the shape and fold up the edges. It's about say 16" long and about 4-5 inches wide. Easily cleaned when you get done so you have for next time...
