No, it's not a PWM, it's a digital network. There are addresses and data being sent from all of the devices in the jeep.

From our canbus spreadsheet, I can tell you that it reports on the CAN-C network.

Understood ..can there be any instance where the bar just gets stuck in unlocked or locking fails even if it is on level ground. Or might there be a failsafe where if something is off it always locks?

For those that have the EVO disconnect, is the knob plastic or metal/plastic?

Metal screw, plastic knob. Its a thick plastic so I think you'd have to hit it pretty hard to damage.
