Rubicon: stock or optional wheels?

I love the stock look...after I saw the upgraded ones today I'm so glad I just got the stock.

Stock but getting them power coated black......built it into my deal.

That's a really good idea actually.. didn't know the dealers could do that. Will definitely bring it up when the time comes, do you have any more details?

I'm probably going to get the Optional upgrade ones for my summers, and then order a set of the Base stock ones for my winters.

I liked the black ones they had on the mules. I'm not fond of either of the production wheels, but if I had to pick, I'd go stock.

I really like the stock Rubicon wheels, but love the optional ones.

With price being removed from the equation, the stock wheel looks best on darker colors and the option wheels look best on lighter colors. Billet Silver almost needs the option wheel, I think. But the stock wheel looks great on Granite Crystal. So just a few shades darker makes a difference, to my eye.

I agree with everyone who commented that the stock wheel painted black would be the best of all, since I like the spoke pattern the best of the two wheels.

I don't have a Rubicon, but I have the optional Rubi Wheels on my Sport S. I really like them with the Punk'n.

I had an order ready to submit for a Sting Grey 6 sp with the standard wheels and OWL tires. I wound up deciding to go with an auto and I was able to locate one that matched my specs in Granite and it happened to have the optional wheels. I do like the way that it looks but it was not a "must have" for me.

Optional wheels for me. They were much closer to my JKUR Hard Rock that I liked and wanted something similar. Both wheels look good, but I like the optional wheel better - hence why there are options.

I ordered the optional. They somehow remind me of the old two piece wheels my power wagon had on it. When they were clean, they had a black center with silver lip too.
