I have the RC M186 front diff skid. It fit perfectly and is well built, though the weld beads could stand to look a little smoother. I'm not a bead snob though as long as it holds up, and it's worked great so far. It's meant to take abuse, and has done so the few times I've been wheeling with it.

I live in Las Vegas so rust isn't really a thing here, but if I lived anywhere that rust could be a problem I do see a lot of areas on that bumper that could be suscepitble.

I have three RC components on my JL:

- #10612C roof rack with front & rear lights

- #10596 front winch bumper with integrated light bar

-#10598 rear bumper with swing away tire carrier

Quality is good, I agree with the above-mentioned weld bead comments, and the coatings are pretty good. For the prices I paid I feel I got a good deal on them all.

@JL MADDOG Looks good amigo, still thinking about giving them a chance even with the noted concerns, I dropped over $12K in after market on my 2014 JKUR a few years back and trying Realllly hard not to do that again, its just sooo easy...lol

Thanks man. I know there are concerns and some complaints regarding RC stuff but I have none.

This is my first Jeep...ever. I learned how to drive using my grandfather's WWII surplus Jeep and have driven a few over the years but I never have owned one until earlier this year.

I, too, realized what Jeep means pretty quickly into ownership of my Snazzyberry Willys:

Just
Empty
Every

Pocket

And given the large assortment of aftermarket parts, accessories and gizmos available it also stands for:

Just
Everybody
Else's

Parts

Good luck with your choices!

I was in the same boat and decided to give RC a try for tubular front and rear. So far only installed the rear.. both bumpers are super heavy duty 70lbs rear and 100lbs front. Coating is ok.. doesnt look like they did a whole lot of prep on the steel before hand or that it has any primer on it, but that's ok, this is why it cost $600.. i'm in dry climate and it should be fine, if its not, i have a powder coater down the street who will re-coat for nothing.. I'll be doing the front bumper next..

forgot to mention on the rear bumper i didnt use RC lic plate holder as i dont like how it sits under the tail lights plus the included lic plate light is like from 80's halogen chrome looking assembly.. terrible.. since i had teraflex alpha carrier i added their lic plate relocation kit which fits like a glove.
