I'm in the process of downloading (all 9.3 GB) and will install it when I get home. I'll update how it goes after and try to get it all on GoPro...

UConnect update was successful. All custom settings remained. Took about 45 mins, plus the time to prepare the USB key for the update. The instructions provided were very accurate, including mention of the ghosting that you see on the screen...

I don't believe the navigation maps will be any different, since they seem to have a 17Q2 reference. Off Road Pages works well.
