I’m surprised somebody on here hasn’t posted “ dang factory jeep. If it had a 12” lift and 40’s he could’ve taken that wave!”

That guy WAY overreacted. I get the urgency at first, but when he’s panicking while running past people walking casually, he’s being a bit sensational….
If you’re referring to whoever is holding the camera, I think it’s on a scooter, motorcycle, or car to go that fast.

Yeah, the first block or so, I understood the 'better safe than sorry' gtfo running away for dear life, but after that, I started to think the dude really just didn't want to get his shoes and socks wet. I can relate to that as well, but it was a bit over dramatic at that point.

Honestly not sure how common this is in Cali, but I've seen enough videos of oblivious beach-goers in southeast Asia casually ignore some weird tides and larger than average waves right before a massive tsunami came and washed them all away to their inevitable doom.

He could have jumped onto the back of the fire truck, but yeah, he still would have gotten his feet wet.

The pickup that stayed was nicely turned and propelled down the road with no apparent damage and did not use fuel. Hydro power, hmmm.... :CWL:
