What is everyone using? Not necessarily concerned with color changing (although won’t rule out). Lots of mention of rock lights in search but not a specific thread.

I just clicked through a bunch of your guys' links. if you pay more than 50 bucks on a rock light setup you've been raped. Seriously guys. These aren't long distance lights that throw tons of light on the road or way in front of you.

They light up underneath you. that's it. that's all it's for. Back in the day we used to use our stock fogs that we had laying around and just mount them on the frame.

You DO NOT NEED 300 dollar baja rock lights... that's just pure insanity.

^^ To each their own.

But if you want to buy quality, and only have to buy ( and install once, which is the part that sucks the most), take a look at ours.

They are one of our best selling products, and we have them in stock ready to go.

If you use discount code "JLforum" it takes 15% off as well.

i'm sure they're nice. But that's some full blown horse poo right there. I'm sorry. 250 bucks for lights that just shine downward 3'?!

I'm not new to this. 31 jeeps later and plenty have had rock lights. There is absolutely no reason to drop that kind of $ on a couple of led lights that mount to the bottom of the jeep. all they're there for is seeing if there's a rock ahead of or behind...

or lighting up cool colors at the mall.

seriously, that much $ for rock lights... it just feels like companies are taking advanage of new jeep owners.

we're all entitled to our opinion right?

That's mine.

I just can't wrap my head around spending more than 50 bucks on a rock light setup... that's crazy...

I put low cost (I think around $15) truck bed lights on my JK years ago and wired them to my interior light control. They come on when the doors open so they are a puddle light and I can turn them on with the interior light switch if I need them when driving. They fit nicely in the depressed area of my side ateps.
