Rock Light Install Location Help

Bought a four pack of rock lights from Lux. Where should I install them? I was thinking somewhere on the metal fenders or inboard or outboard of each wheel. Thots?

I like the idea of a spotter being able to see what your tire is going to go over. Started with a KC 6 light kit, then added two more so I could have two in the middle on each side moved closer to each tire. Those were mounted with their z brackets on the same bolts holding the factory rock rails. On the bumpers I used existing bolts.

With four lights probably in the fenders~behind the tire in front angling slightly forward, and in the rear fender in front of the tire angling slightly back (This assumes you have a good mounting point there). I have 8 small amber lights for more of a glow affect (not true rock lighting) and I have my corners mounted that way and 2 under each side step.

Hard to argue w/ @BDinTX as his setup really gives full view of the ground below, can't imagine a better setup for night crawlin'

BTW Christian, what fenders are those? Look nice w/ plenty of clearance.

DV8 Slim Fenders. Have had them on both JLs. New JLUR XR (profile pic) coming with painted fenders to prevent me from replacing them. ?

@At Risk Ute, If you haven't done it already, you should be able to use a 9v battery to light them up and get an idea of where the light will go if it's somewhat dark outside.

Edit: You'll have to narrow down which Brad you're thanking lol. PLUS, notice how helpful the Brads are? Impressive... ; )
