So let me lead by saying that I understand that a Wrangler is not a luxury vehicle.

So we rented a Sport S for a few days to see if it fit us. We loved it and how great it drove. I ended up buying a Sahara thinking that it would be an even better ride. I didn't notice issues during the test drive (I'm guessing the roads were just in better condition in the city.) Once I actually took it for a long drive, I realized that I'm feeling every bump in the road. My Sahara does have the anti-spin differential, so it has the all terrain tires. Is it because of the tires that I'm feeling the road so much?

Check your Air Pressure, the dealership may have not aired them down from the factory , there is a label on your drivers door which will show what they should be at .. If they are high .. you will feel every bump for sure ..

^ I will echo what ECHO said.

When I brought my jeep home for the 1st time I gave it a good once over and found that the tire pressures where all over 40psi.
Even the Rubi take-offs I picked up a fews weeks later where all over 40 psi. Closer to 50psi if my memory serves me.

I checked and they were at 38, supposed to be 35. I dropped it down a bit.

Check the fuses?

Ditto on the air pressure ^^^. The door Han says 36, I think, but I find the bumps smooth out even more at about 32, and that's still high enough that the tire pressure warning won't come on.

Probably the tire sidewalls if it's not the psi.

Just about everyone is running < 30psi in their tires. I run 28. It makes a big difference, so be sure to let some air out before you give up hope. Do agree with @XJrider though - it's a Jeep, not a Cadillac...

I run KO2's at 30psi cold. The ride is much better than it is at higher psi like 35 plus.

I kept my Bridgestones (Stock Sahara Tire) at 33, they were 44 from the dealer. It helped with the wandering and loose feeling steering.

I keep my KO2s on Fuel rims in the 31-32 range.

You made a bad choice youll likely never be truely satisfied. You bought into an image and idea and the novelty is wearing off for you.
Not even close.

I've owned a 79 z28 with t-tops and a 98 convertible Mustang. I love open air driving and have wanted to be back in a convertible for years. Wrangler is my only option since I have a son in a wheelchair. I just can't wait for it to warm up.
