Reversed line on Warn VR10S

Good morning,

New winch user here, so please be gentle. I just finished installing my Warn VR10S and while I was pre-tensioning it, I unrolled the synthetic rope completely and was not sure what arrow to press, the up or the down to wind it back on the drum.

After finishing the pre-tension exercise, I have noticed on Youtube videos that I rolled it reverse. So to winch in I press the UP instead of the DOWN button.

Does anybody know if it makes a difference of any kind?

CALLED WARN. ROPE FROM THE BOTTOM. ISSUE SOLVED
