Had rough country shocks for a few months now. I can tolerate them but at the same time I want a better ride.
leaning between falcon or fox. Is there that big enough difference to spend the money just to upgrade?

Is it just the RC shocks or a RC lift kit?

In my opinion it is always worth the money to get rid of any Rough Country components.
lol lift kit. The end link messed up on me about 1 month in, Kinda ridiculous.

I had a RC lift kit at first and it was terrible. The shocks gave out after a few months and the rear sagged.

There's unfortunately no real cheap way to lift a Wrangler. The only right thing to do is a proper lift with all the necessary components to correct the geometry.

I'd recommend looking at MetalCloak Game Changer but I'm sure others can jump in with recs as well.

You can replace the shocks/springs but if you don't have adjustable control arms and track bars you'll mostly be in the same spot in terms of ride quality.

Yeah I think the only real "cheap lift" would be a set of Rubicon takeoffs put on a sport model.
But even then, depending on lift height, going to want a minimum of a good track bar to go with it for sure.

I have a front track bar, I was going to go with falcon sp2 2.1 till I read they run pretty firm. Springs I’ll switch out as well.

I have the Fox 2.0s with my lift and I have no complaints. I originally was going to go with King's but they were a little too pricey for me.

? Shocks and springs are going to have the biggest affect on ride quality.

@Blackdew some Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks would definitely be a big upgrade over what you have. If your budget allows for it, we can put our valving in them to make the Jeep a lot more tolerable both on and off-road. I am not too familiar with their springs, but changing shocks alone should be a big improvement and a great start in the right direction. Maybe I missed it, but what lift height do you have at the moment?

i don’t think so, might be step down. They have black cover for the rears 2.5 IFP
Gotcha. I am not sure those will offer a huge change over what you had, but hopefully they do.
