have anybody replace the starter? After unbolting i don't have much space to take out the starter. Hopefully i can get some advice to take it off. 2018 wrangler jlur

Mine is in the shop at the moment to replace the starter. According to them the driver side exhaust manifold has to be removed. Mine is a 2 door 3.6, may be different for you.have anybody replace the starter? After unbolting i don't have much space to take out the starter. It is quite involved if you go by the book. Apparently the starter can be partially disassembled to clear that small space and the new ones are a lower profile and go right in.
