Replacing Driver's Door Scuff Plate?

Has anyone replaced that piece of interior trim that is on the floorboard right next to where the door sill guards go? Ours is horribly scratched. I believe this is the part for it and was wondering how easy it is to do.

It's on with double side tape, it can be pulled off.

That's all that whole piece is attached with? If I order a new one like in the link above will it come with the tape to reattach?

You have to disconnect the door wiring, check strap, and 1 bolt. After that, it's just held in by clips. This install video for Armorlite flooring shows it, although not in great detail:

I've removed the passenger side panel before, and broke it. There are a lot of clips, and probably missed one before I tugged too hard. Go slow, and should be fine.

Make sure you keep the old clips, they cannot be purchased separately and they occasionally break.
