So I just recently changed my coolant reservoir due to a leak and obviously whatever was in the reservoir came out. Do I have to bleed or flush the coolant before I add more or can I just add more to the reservoir?

Just add more and watch levels, you'll be fine. You didn't drain the system hence there should be no hidden air pockets to bleed.

Check owner's manual though, you may be due for a full drain and replacement depending on mileage/year so now would be a good time to do just that.
