Wondering if anyone here has their carpet removed and has had no issues driving around doorless with the wires exposed for a long period of time. I was thinking about removing the carpets on mine but wanted to make sure all the exposed wiring should be ok when doorless and roofless. I'm not talking about just for a few days for a trip I'm talking about leaving the carpets removed for years and having the wires exposed when parked and left alone outside doorless.

How about a carpet replacement? Wall to wall mat.

well I was thinking about how people get the inside of their JL's wet all the time and that carpet just stays wet and soaks through underneath anyway and dust and dirt gets underneath the carpet anyways so I was thinking the wires should be fine being exposed without carpet and doorless. of course I'm not gonna leave the Jeep outside doorless in the rain or intentionally try and get it dirty or wet.
