I haven’t decided if it’s a good thing or a bad thing that I have had this thing apart so many times I can do two knuckles and all 4 Ball joints in 2 1/2 hours! They were a good match to the Jeep!

I feel the same way hahaha

Well I will say the steering is much more responsive with the Reid knuckles vs the factory crap. It almost feels like I swapped out the gear box with a faster ratio box. The pull to the Rt I had feels like it’s gone, I am willing to bet the ball joints squared up the camber on the front, I won’t know until I get it back on an alignment rack if it did.

Unfortunately the wobble I had that started this whole adventure in rebuilding the factory steering seems to still be there. There is officially nothing left to replace on this thing. I might have to just admit defeat on this thing and move on.

Did I ask you or someone else about your trackbar in regards to your wobble?

I don’t remember, I has a synergy on it and it did it and I swapped it out to a Clayton bar to match the control arms and it did it. No difference between the two different bars.

I'm still of the opinion that you have a tire issue.

The only thing left on the front assembly that is still factory is the upper bushings on the diff. I really doubt that is it.
If they're beaten up enough, it could be contributing.

What speed range does the wobble happen?

What's your toe adjusted to? My bad wobble was fixed by lowering my toe-in from about 3/16" to 1/16" total.

They look brand new, honestly because of COVID last year we only did two trips. We did a week in South Dakota and a long weekend at a Jeep jamboree in Kentucky. It was just me and my wife in South Dakota so most of the stuff we did I barely needed 4WD. In Kentucky it was so muddy we stuck to mainly blue trails.

I checked the toe before I pulled it apart today, and it was at 1/16 in. After the new joints and knuckles it was actually 1/16 out. I readjusted it to 1/16th in. I actually tried it before at 1/16 out and it didn’t make any difference. Steer smart swears by toe out so I figured I would try it.
