I'm rebuilding a JLU after collision with air bag deployment. We finally connected it to power and started it last week and it's throwing lots of warnings about things not working from fuel sensors, tire pressure monitoring, service air bag and service many other things. All to be expected. Some warnings are legit like the air bag as it has not been replaced yet but many of the others like the fuel sensor and servicing of certain items seem to be related to something else as there should be nothing wrong with them.
Step 1, I need to start scanning the codes and clearing some of them and looking for a recommended scanner to use. Is there a goto scanner folks are using or will any scanner I find pretty much do what I need?
Thank you and my apologies if this is a repeated request, I did the search and did not find anything obvious.
