Koons will sell their dealer stock for the Wow price plus destination charge ($1,095) and dealer fee. They also offer 5% below invoice (unknown about JLs) to a couple of different forums if you order through them. Search through the forums and find the right contact. There are only two people who facilitate these deals.

Does anyone know of a dealer in the Hartford, CT area?

None up in that area but in the New Haven area I've found working with Milford Jeep has been a pretty good experience. They are a smaller dealership so you won't find the high volume discounts of some of the larger dealers but its a no pressure environment with no shady tricks. They work with you as best they can on price, I've leased two GC's from them with no issues.

I'm supremely annoyed by the dealerships in Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Crawfordsville and Monticello in Indiana. Has anyone had a positive experience or know of anyone having a positive experience at a dealership in Indiana? I'm willing to go just about anywhere for a positive experience in terms of price and not being dicked around with.

This is from a guy here in NY that went to Koon's and bought his Jeep. He says it is 5% below invoice for Rubicon's and 7% below invoice for all other model wranglers. The second picture has the contacts name I believe.

I bought my JKU from the internet manager at Orange Coast Jeep in Coast Mesa, CA. They took the FCA Affiliate program and I got my JKU for $1,500 under Invoice. It was the easiest car purchase ever. Called them up, told them what I wanted. He asked if I was willing to do the deal right then, I said yes and gave him a $500 deposit, they ordered my JKU to my specs and had it in 6 weeks.

I live in So Cal... that sounds like the best way to buy a Jeep. What is the FCA affiliate program? I may be interested in doing this when I order my JL...

In Indiana, you must see Ryan Neely at Community Chrysler Jeep in Martinsville. I have purchased four vehicles from him. He gives me a great deal and no nonsense. Tell him Kristina referred you.

I'm going to try my closest dealer, who has treated me VERY well with JK wareanty and repairs. Any shenanigans, I'll head to Martinsville and see your buddy. Poynter Jeep in Seymour, Indiana also seems very good. They are Jeepers and hosted a great rally last Saturday. They are just a little far for me.

So I've been trying to find a dealer that'll work with me while I'm stationed overseas, to order a JLU for my return to the states next summer. So far none of the dealers in my home town or surrounding area (DFW, TX - a large metro area,) have responded to me.

I thought maybe a thread with dealer recommendations could be useful for those folks who aren't afraid to travel to pick up their new Jeep.

With that, can anybody recommend a stellar Jeep dealer?

Call Darrell Andrews at Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, ID 208-784-1208, when I bought my 2013 Unlimited Sahara, they were the cheapest and gave me more for my trade than any dealer in my city. I now live in GA, and are working with them now on the new JLU. I am getting what I consider a fair amount on trade for my old one, and they don't pressure you to purchase. They earn your business.

I am in SoCal. We have purchased from Orange Coast Jeep and from Ontario Jeep. We service our Jeep at Premier in Placentia.

The Tread Lightly is the best option as most SoCal dealers don’t like to “deal” I have found out in purchasing many cars. The TL affiliation kind of takes that power away from them. Now others have received discounts even further off the TL deal. I have not but that could be because of the models we were buying.

For the JL I plan to give Premier (Placenta) a try and see if they accept the TL deal. If not then to Orange Coast.

I will sell the GC private party as all dealers will kill us on trade in and because we plan to order one, time will be on our side.
