Long story short, purchased a new vehicle that the original dealer (four hours away) put new tires on without recalibrating. Got Jeep Cares involved and our local dealer performed the recalibration. Got it home and it's still around 4 or so mph off. If speedo says 66, gps apps say 70. If we're going slower, it's about 3 mps off, etc.

Took it back to local dealer and said it's not right. They supposedly looked at it again and said it is right and it's normal for the speedo to be 3 or 4 mph off even AFTER recalibration. What??? NO!!!! I have no idea what tire size they are using as my husband talked to the service guy himself (not the actual guy who did the work). Opinions??

I had the same issue. I took it to a Jeep dealership to have it recalibrated. Cost me $125 and about an hour of my time. My speedometer is spot on with my GPS now. It was off 5 - 7 mph depending on the speed. Good Luck!
