I wasn't keen on spending $300 on a basket/shelf so made my own.

- 3/4" inch Home Depot cut board
- Two aluminum flat bars
-Pepboy Interior carpet
-misc hardware

Simple install;
-Remove roof bolts and place flat bars in place.
-place the board with threaded stud through mounting holes and tighten wing nuts.

Here's my low-fi $75 version that you inspired. Not as nice as yours, but it works!
