Rear Seat Squeak?!?

Hey everyone,

I thought I saw something in another post (regarding warranty work) where someone had their rear seat bracket greased?

where do you grease it lol

I thought it was my child’s car seat so went through the process of swapping it out only to realize it’s the vehicle seat itself … very loud and annoying

any help is appreciated

Not sure this will work for you. It worked great for me. I found a shelf in the garage and kept the rear seat there. It never squeaked.

have you checked to make sure its fully clicked in in the upright position? try lowering and rising the seat again. Also check the mounting bolts

I had the dealer look at mine when I went for my last oil change. The service writer said the mechanic greased the backseat. Not sure where though. A couple weeks later the squeak came back but not as bad.
