Is it true the dealer is the only one that can replace the light on the rear license plate? Went to get an inspection
sticker today and the mechanic couldn't figure it out...neither could I.

Thanks in advance.

If you have a led license light in a plastic bumper it mounts from the backside of the bumper. Two nuts retain the led light to the bumper and the wiring harness can be disconnected from the led assembly

I had my factory bumper replaced with a steel bumper. The shop disconnected the license plate light connector but the steel bumper didn't have a light option for the license holder. I was looking at LED license bolts to light up the plate and be legal again. Will the wiring on the factory connector work with aftermarket LED lighting options?

I just bought a steel bumper to replace my plastic sport bumper and it's missing a lamp / wiring. Can I transfer those from my plastic?
