Rear camera off square

Its been bugging me but the rear camera markers are off the square, such that if I back up against a wall or into a space and use the markers or guidelines on the screen, the car will not be sitting straight.

Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it? I'm hoping this can be adjusted easily and not an indication that the rear tyre carrier or worse is misaligned.
