Hi, I've noticed a random mechanical clicking noise. Almost sounds like a dial being turned - 1 or 5 clicks at a time. No pattern to when it shows up or condition. First time was at night during a rain storm. Next time was driving thru the parking garage. Happens on smooth road and bumpy road - not related to vibration. Time gaps between it doing this - can be a week, a few days to a month. Totally random. Noise seems to come from the left side of the driver side. Anyone else?

Whew dang. The reason there aren't any replies here likely is because this issue has been beaten to death. No sound from the vid for some reason. But likely a familiar sound that many of us have dealt with, I predict?

Check the cotter pin torque on the ball joints.

I thought the ball joint issue happens when you are turning. This noise has happened while sitting at a stop light. But I’ll take it to a dealer and ask about the ball joint.
