Install done. Very straight forward.. They supply you with everything you need except written instructions. The product is new enough that they do not have them online yet so you have to watch the video and follow along. I mounted my tag off to the side but they give you the option to mount it over the spare and unlike most companies they provide you all of the hardware for both mounting locations.

Fixing stupid....
Looks really good.

for those who asked, it does give the bumper weight on their site when you click on “specs”

152 lbs

Someone else was asking about light weight steel bumpers. The lightest i found is the Rugged Ridge HD rear bumper at 40 lbs.

I never weighed it but I don't think it weighed much more than the stock steel bumper. Add in the tire relocation bracket and class III hitch and I'd agree with that weight.

My bumper was delivered today. The packaging was excellent and the components were all very well packaged individually and protected. I guess I didn't realize that it came with a new class III hitch and tire relocation bracket. So far it seems like a really nice setup. I just called and confirmed that they do not have written installation instructions online yet since it's such a new product but they do have an installation video.
I returned from vacation yesterday to find three boxes that were all in great shape. I guess the shipping company kept the pallet for me. I went through everything and am very happy. The bumper is fairly light but well made (the welds look good) and I really like the recovery brackets. The powder coating is really good and I did not notice any imperfections.

My only kinda/sorta/ not really a gripe is that I would have liked to have a plug longer pigtail for the lights.

I should have time to install at least the bumper portion of it sometime later this week hopefully. I will probably wait on installing the rest of the kit until upgrade my tire size.

A longer pigtail would have been nice but I can deal with that, at least they are also included with the whole kit. They are super bright btw. I ran 16 ga wire from each side to the battery. I had to buy 4 rolls of 24 feet and wire loom which I ran on top of the passenger side frame rail to the battery. Every couple of feet I used zip ties to secure it to the factory wires.

I installed mine today, I only installed the bumper. It was getting dark as I finished so I’ll post pics in the morning. I took my time with the sensors and light wiring. Most everything else was a breeze my biggest lesson learned is that I need to invest in a large complete set ratchet wrenches and of both shallow and deep metric sockets in 3/8 and 1/2 that go from around 18mm to 30mm.

I also installed the Fishbone Seam Protectors. On my Diesel it makes my DEF tank more noticeable.

Finally got mine on after 2 1/2 months. This bumper looks well made and fit's like a glove. The hardest part was not having a shallow 21mm socket. Comes in right around 55lbs with led's ( I opted for the white floods for backup lights) and hardware. I took the license plate frame that comes with the bumper and inverted it on to a bracket I made attached to the spare tire carrier. Routing the power for it through the tailgate and cutting a small slit in both ends of the fabric sleeve and fishing it through and up to the top of the fender well. This is where I chose to tie into the wiring harness on the top corner of the fender. I chose this location because every thing is there and out of the elements as well as the 4 wire harness I ran to the front auxiliary harness under the dash. All connections are soldered and insulated. There are only two splices, back up floods (when in reverse, tied to trailer reverse circuit) and license plate light. I took the original license plate plug and sealed it up and tied it up behind the tail light out of the elements more. Took me all day but was in no hurry. Money well spent. I made a few in field modifications to the lower fender liner piece's and brackets until spring for some custom aluminum mud flaps. Hopefully the trailer ball and recovery point will inflict more damage to the next tailgater.

Anyone have this long enough to determine how well it holds up to rust?

I'm going through my second winter with mine and have had zero issues with the finish. The powder coating looked great when it came in so hopefully that's an indication of how it will hold up. It sits higher so I haven't hit it on anything yet to damage the powdercoat and give rust a place to start. I always check the underside while I'm doing routine maintenance. They put salt, sand and that brine mixture down here when snow or ice threatens so I would think If there was an issue with the finish I would see it by now. My Quadratec running boards have started to bubble under the powder coating in a couple of places on the underside after 2 years in the same environment. At this point I'd say it was a good purchase if you're still on the fence with them.

Thanks for the feedback. Been looking forever for a decent steel rear bumper that is durable, good corrosion resistance, not too heavy, not ugly and wraps around the sides.

Baffles me how many aftermarket steel bumpers don't wrap around and just have all that pinch seam exposed.

That's the reason I gave IronMan a try and I can say I've been happy and would make the same purchase again. If you catch a sale price it's definitely worth it.

They have it at $559 without lights right now. Seems decent. Looks like it was $699 originally... ?

I paid $689 with taxes and it came with a tire relocation bracket, cube lights and a class III receiver.
