Took my 2019 in for an oil change yesterday and asked them to see if the head unit (8.4) had any updates as it is still a little glitchy (Rebooting itself periodically).

They ran a lengthy update and as I was driving home I realized the aftermarket front camera was now showing the blue screen of sadness.

After speaking with Zautomotive (the front cam is activated through a tazer mini) it seemed the most likely cause of the issue was the radio now identifies as a 2020+ so needed the pins moving in the main plug to the head unit. I’ll say that I tried unmarrying and marrying the tazer a few times and updating the tazer firmware in case it was a software issue of some kind.

Posting in case anyone else encounters the same thing.

Ever find a solution?
The solution is in the original post, the pins needed to be moved as the radio thought it was newer than it was.
