Radio Turns Off and Clock Resets

Hi all,

I’m having a weird, random issue with the radio of my 2019 Wrangler.

A couple weeks after I got it, I started her up and pulled out. As I was driving out of the parking lot. The radio blinked off for about ten seconds. When it came back on, the clock on the radio had reset. Stations were still programmed in.

I took her back to the dealer and they tightened everything up. They could find no outright issues.

All was good until yesterday when it happened again. Going back to the dealership tomorrow.

It’s not a big deal, but I’m concerned it’s an indicator of a larger problem with the radio.

Any one had similar issues? What was the fix?

Are you using an iPhone?

If so, unlock the screen before starting the rig. Bluetooth or plugging into the USB locked causes freezes and no response situations.
