They hold up just fine. Going on almost 3 years with mine.

Other than the issues I posted above after I installed mine, they've held up just fine.

Does it add to any bolstering feeling?

No. They fit tight to the seats, so there's really nothing extra that's added.

Mine are holding up well although I still find pros and cons with them. I learned them early on and it hasn't changed. I don't regret putting them on but the main reason that I got them was that I just didn't feel like taking the cloth seat covers off to put the seat heaters on the seats. But if I had to do it over again I would have ordered the cloth seats with the heaters in them from the factory.

Pros:
Look good.
Easy to clean and dry when caught in rainstorm.
Made it easier to add heated seats (added between seat and cover).

Cons:
Can get very hot in direct sunlight.
Do slide a little more on vinyl than on cloth,

They don't have any bolstering built in so they won't add anything to stock.
