Did anyone try programming the new pre 2021 continental TPMs to be compatible with a post 2021 JL?

I understand that Jeep switched TPMs brand from schrader to continental since June 2021 but I can’t find information regarding reprogramming the continental TPMs to work with an older model vehicle.

The sensors are not interchangeable in either direction. Old style won’t work post 06/21 vehicles, and new style won’t work pre 06/21 vehicles.

so you can’t buy a programmer to reprogram it at all?

No. Post 06/21 sensors will only communicate with post 06/21 vehicles. Pre 06/21 sensors will only communicate with pre 06/21 vehicles.
